Fusion energy spinout targets next-generation microwaves

MuWave, a spinout company from UKAEA, has secured funding to develop high-power microwave technology, which is essential for commercial fusion energy.

A recent spinout company from the UKAEA, MuWave, has announced it will receive funding from the UK Innovation and Science Seed Fund (UKI2S), growing MuWave’s capabilities to develop high-power microwave technology for fusion energy and adjacent sectors.
