Welcome to UKAEA’s SME Webinar Sessions!
Following the success of our SME Collaborative event in September 2025, UKAEA is bringing three of our most in-demand workshops online as a live webinar series.
We have designed these sessions to help current and prospective suppliers better understand UKAEA’s procurement processes and maximise value when bidding for work. Whether you were unable to attend the September event or are looking for a refresher, this series offers practical, valuable insights.
Who can attend
These webinars are specifically to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are:
- currently working with UKAEA as a supplier
- interested in bidding for future UKAEA opportunities
- new to public sector or UKAEA procurement
- looking to improve their understanding of procurement processes and portals
- seeking practical guidance on writing stronger, more competitive bids
You do not need to have attended a SME collaborative event before and you can attend each webinar independently.

Procurement Pipeline – Maximising Value

Get an overview of UKAEA’s procurement pipeline, how opportunities are shaped, and where suppliers can add the most value. This session will help you position your organisation effectively and prepare early for future opportunities.
Navigating Procurement Portals (PA23)
12 February 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
A practical walkthrough of procurement portals, including PA23. Learn how to find live opportunities, submit responses correctly, and avoid common pitfalls that can lead to disqualification. Ideal for both new and experienced users.
Bid Writing
26 February 09:00 am to 10:30 am
Understand what UKAEA looks for in a high-quality bid. This session covers how bids are evaluated, what ‘good’ looks like, and practical tips to improve clarity, compliance, and scoring.
