SUMMARY:Tritium Users Group (TUG) Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Tritium Users Group (TUG) conference will offer talks and presentations to explore our forum which provides the exchange of information on topics of common interest to the UK Tritium community. \n\n\n\nThis event will enable TUG to develop a more integrated\, open UK Tritium community able to utilise available expertise and share experience with the common aim of improving safety\, cost effectiveness and environmental impact of tritium operations. \n\n\n\nThe TUG will facilitate the exchange of technical information\, ideas and views on all aspects of tritium operations including production\, processing\, storage\, waste assessment\, waste disposal\, radiological protection and safety assessments. General meetings will be unclassified with respect to national security issues but commercially sensitive information may be discussed at the discretion of the relevant company or organisation. \n\n\n\nWho can attend?\n\n\n\nTritium Users Group Event is open to anyone with an interest in\, or is currently\, using tritium. \n\n\n\nAll external visitors must bring valid photo ID\, such as a driving licence or passport. \n\n\n\nKey dates\, registration\, submission and other details\n\n\n\nAll attendees MUST register as a general delegate. SUMMARY:FISPACT-II training course 2026
DESCRIPTION:Minimum enrolment: 10 participants \n\n\n\nMaximum enrolment: 15 participants \n\n\n\nCourse fee: 600 EUR \n\n\n\nRegistration deadline: 15 May 2026 \n\n\n\nThis three-day training course at OECD/NEA headquarters in Paris will be taught in English with daily 6-hour sessions scheduled from 9:00 to 17:00\, Paris time (CEST).  \n\n\n\nParticipants need to hold a FISPACT-II licence. This licence can only be granted to eligible representatives of organisations of the NEA Data Bank participating countries. \n\n\n\nFISPACT-II v.5 licence is available from the NEA computer programs collection: NEA-1890 FISPACT-II 5.X. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCourse description\n\n\n\nFISPACT-II (currently at release version 5.X) is an enhanced multi-physics platform providing a wide range of advanced simulation methods and employing the most up-to-date (TENDL-2019\, ENDF/B-VIII.O\, JENDL-4.0\, JEFF-3.3\, etc.) enhanced nuclear data forms for neutron\, proton\, alpha\, deuteron\, or gamma particles interactions. FISPACT-II has applications in: \n\n\n\n\nmagnetic and inertial confinement fusion\n\n\n\nadvanced fission Generation IV and beyond\n\n\n\nadvanced energy and fuel systems\n\n\n\nhigh energy and accelerator physics\n\n\n\nmedical applications\, isotope production\n\n\n\nearth exploration\, astrophysics\n\n\n\nhomeland security\, materials science\n\n\n\nand more\n\n\n\n\nThe workshop provides step-by-step demonstrations of FISPACT-II usage\, backed up by application examples. The instructors introduce the newly developed FISPACT-II API (which was in beta release with version 5)\, which provides advanced interface options. \n\n\n\nPractical information\n\n\n\nYou should bring a laptop with the code already installed. If you do not succeed in installing the code\, please make sure that your device has access to Wi-Fi. \n\n\n\nInformation on how to get to the Nuclear Energy Agency and for nearby hotels. \n\n\n\nPayment information\n\n\n\nThe registration fee is 600 EUR. This includes lunch and coffee breaks\, but does not cover accommodation. \n\n\n\nAs soon as your registration has been accepted\, you will receive the necessary information to proceed with payment\, by bank transfer only. The payment deadline is on Friday 22 May 2026. \n\n\n\nRegistrations will be open until places run out.
